Gorgeous Micro Wedding in Dubrovnik
UK couple C & J’s wedding ceremony at the Palace Viewpoint on the beautiful Lapad peninsula was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding in Croatia. Suitable for a maximum of 16 people the fort like setting offers spectacular sea views of the Adriatic sea and Elafite islands. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests went to Dubrovnik old town for photographs and a champagne cruise to Gruz Port, before travelling back to the Lapad peninsula for the evening meal at the 5* Hotel More & Cave Bar More.
C & J – Dubrovnik, Croatia
With the rise of micro weddings, we think C & J’s wedding in Dubrovnik is a great example of how less can be more. Their 14 guests were treated to a wonderful “wedding experience”. This began with C & J’s very informative wedding website, their guests were given details about everything they needed to know about going to their wedding in Dubrovnik, including travel and accommodation options, where to eat, what to do and even a helpful section on Covid & Brexit.
Pearls of Wisdom:
Our wedding would not have gone ahead without a wedding planner! Having someone in the country you’re travelling to that knows the vendors and speaks the language was pretty essential for us (especially due to Covid) and our planner was worth her weight in gold. It took all of the stress out of the day as everything ran so smoothly. We did shop around to get a good price and find someone that wasn’t looking to force their idea of what our wedding should be on us.
If you haven’t been to the location before do a visit beforehand to see the area. Doing this allowed us to meet our planner and actually changed our mind on the reception venue we had picked.
Would highly recommend our wedding planner and Restaurant More if you’re planning a wedding in Dubrovnik!
