A wedding in Antigua will offer you a beach wedding made in paradise.
If you decide to get married in Antigua your hardest decision may be choosing which one of their 365 beaches you will get married on. If it were up to me, I’d take a year off and spend a day on every beach until I was absolutely certain I’d made the perfect choice…ah, to be a dreamer!
The legal requirements for getting married in Antigua are very straight forward and with no minimum residency stay, this island is an incredibly popular choice for a Caribbean wedding.
Antigua is the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean islands, it’s surrounded by coral reefs, has a coastline dotted with tiny inlets, natural harbours and absolutely stunning beaches.
The island has a vibrant culture and history. It has fantastic scenery and offers plenty of activities that will keep you and your guests occupied. Often associated with celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey and Eric Clapton (both have winter homes on the island), Antigua also caters for those on a more modest budget.
If you fancy escaping to your own little paradise after your wedding day, then Barbuda, Antigua’s little sister, is a mere 20 minute flight away. The island remains unspoilt by tourism, fringed by coral reefs and has miles of beaches peppered with pink sand.
